I love teaching and I have enjoyed the time that I have been here at Bright Star. This is my 4th year at Bright Star. I previously taught for 8 years at Eastside Elementary here in Douglas County. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades during my 12 years of teaching. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in May 2007 from the University of West Georgia. I then went to Western Governor's University and completed a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in February 2011. I have been married for 10 years and we have a beautiful daughter. We enjoy traveling and spending time together.
